Boho chic is one of those styles that comes and goes but always seems to stay the same: this is because the style has been highlighting the same vintage and ethnic staples for decades: indian textiles, moroccan poufs and rugs, european iron furniture and paper lanterns just to name a few. It’s an especially great style to use in a country house because it’s unfussy and timeless.

Cindy Sherman understood that concept when she decorated her 19th-century farmhouse in the Hamptons with the help of designer Billy Cotton. Though her decor would easily range in the high column, bohemian-luxe is a style that can easily be reproduced on any budget.
